Indian sandstone paving packs
Both affordable and aesthetically pleasing, Indian sandstone is one of our best-selling paving products. Every slab is unique, with natural colour variations, eye-catching veining and other markings, and a classic riven surface for added character. Sandstone is also easy to cut and lay, making it great for DIYers seeking a cheap and straightforward option. What’s more, each paving pack comes with a mix of four slab sizes and easy patio laying patterns to follow.
Popular shades include rustic Meadow Blend with a mix of neutral greys, browns and greens to suit all house styles. As well as warmer Coastal Mix pavers featuring a blend of red, orange and grey for a more vivid finish. Each pack covers 15.22m2, and is on sale for just £413.10.
Or if you’d prefer a lighter base, our Desert Sand Paving Pack covers 15.30m2 for the same price. Better yet, its combination of soft yellows, buffs and creams with orange accents is perfect for brightening your outside space!
Can’t quite decide between colour schemes? We’d suggest checking out our new Hinksey Blend sandstone paving. These unique patio slabs are predominantly grey in colour, however, orange streaks run through them and provide extra dimension. Was £471.96, now £424.76.
The only real downside to sandstone is that its uneven surface isn’t ideal for certain types of patio furniture. Also, its porosity means moisture can lead to wear over time and potentially, freeze thaw issues in winter. But don’t worry – we have several other materials available too!
Limestone paving and Brazilian slate slabs
If you’re in the market for hardwearing, contemporary patio slabs, look no further. Our stylish deep grey Noire Limestone paving packs offer excellent colour consistency with fewer imperfections than their sandstone counterparts. The surface is also smoother, more resilient and stays comfortably cool in sunny weather. Meanwhile, the sleek straight-edged finish will complement modern properties to a tee, with packs now reduced to £505.20 for 15.28m2.
Alternatively, you might like our inky blue-black Brazilian Slate pavers. They are just as chic and naturally stain resistant due to their low porosity too! Now £689.14, from £765.71.
Tip: whichever you choose, avoid dragging furniture along your dark coloured natural stone slabs or you may leave scratch marks. And remember, we also sell specialist sealants to prevent excess moisture causing damage down the line. Check out our care range online.
AWBS Exclusive porcelain paving packs
Love the look of classic Indian sandstone slabs but want something that will last longer and requires less upkeep? We recently expanded our AWBS Exclusive range to include luxury porcelain paving packs designed to mimic natural stone. As such, you can benefit from patio slabs in various colours with authentic-looking markings applied to replicate a riven surface. Yet, you won’t have to worry about any unevenness when positioning your outdoor furniture.
Additionally, our porcelain pavers are incredibly robust, scratch-resistant and non-porous. In fact, they should last at least 20-30 years if properly installed – read our porcelain laying guide here. They can also withstand all forms of British weather and are easy to clean which is especially useful if you have pets. And we’ve even added a textured non-slip surface to boot!
