23kg small bags for 5 for the price of 4!

An essential element of most construction projects, our good quality building sand is a mix of 70% soft and 30% sharp concreting sand, making it ideal for brick and block work, wet paving mortar and many other general building applications. Available to buy in half bulk bags, jumbo bulk bags or 23kg small bags - see our bag size guide below.  

Bag sizes and coverage

Our construction aggregates are available in jumbo bulk bags or 23kg small bags, which are ideal for smaller projects. 

• A full 850kg jumbo bulk bag will cover approximately 10-12m² at a depth of 50mm.
• A 450kg half bulk bag will cover approximately 4-5m² at a depth of 50mm.
• You'll need approximately three 23kg small bags to cover 1m² at a depth of 50mm.

These measurements are all approximate and do not account for compaction of the sand. Don't forget, you can use our very handy aggregate calculator if you need further help, however please get in touch with your local branch if you need any more advice.
