Trex Joist Protector Tape is a butyl based tape that helps to protect the top of the timber joist from developing rot and decay when installing Trex composite decking. This tape will also help decking screws hold longer and stronger than acrylic or asphalt-based tape, and also helps to prevent against moisture penetration and splitting due to freeze and thaw. Sold per 20 metre roll, with a choice of two tape widths.
