Specifically formulated to give a long lasting bond between a new mortar base and all types of porcelain paving, Pavetuf Priming Slurry is a polymer slurry that is used to secure non-porous porcelain flagstones onto the mortar bed, ensuring your porcelain patio will last for years. Also suitable for use with natural stone paving, should you wish to provide an additional layer of adhesion.

Porcelain paving has a very low water absorption value, meaning that the paving tile will not draw moisture to the same degree as other paving materials. This means that your porcelain paving will help to resist stains and stay clean but it also means that the paving will absorb almost nothing from the bedding mortar and concequently, without help, porcelain will not form a strong bond to the mortar bed. Can also be used on natural stone paving slabs to form a better bond to the mortar and reduce the potential for "picture frame" stains and cement patches being drawn up through the stone.
